To box me into words is an interesting experiment, really to box anyone in words probably is just an interesting experiment. Each language around the world has developed differently and with its own flow, this is true with the language of astrology as well. So this will be just a basic overview. 

I am a world traveling mother of two amazing growing people, who are setting off on their own life adventures. The astrological side of me grew up using Placidus natal charts and reading Sun sign astrologer Linda Goodman. Her books could be found on my bedside table most nights. I always read the top three- Sun, Moon, and Rising, I knew that much even in my teens.  I have now also learned, and dove into Hellenistic astrology, but before I even knew it I was already deep into what is called Evolutionary Modern Astrology using the Placidus chart. This is at the core of my learning of my own  natal chart, the complexity of it leads me to see the true complexity of the human soul. The fact it will probably never be seen in one lifetime is amazing to me, its cosmic. And that it expresses itself through multiple maps,charts and symbols is transcendent and transformational.    

 I suddenly needed to take all my knowledge and put it into some kind of order. I now know this all happened right on time as planets transited around and opened portals that I jumped through. I signed up for a year-long training with Helena Woods to learn all about astrocartography. This is where I learned about whole signs Hellenistic astrology. Yet, I was still really drawn to Meredith Froemke, a Modern Evolutionary astrologer. When she opened a school I could not say no. So here I am, embracing both and seeing them both for the magic that they are. 

Let’s dive more into me, for the astrocartography folks I met my husband a stones throw away from my Sun Pluto and Pluto Jupiter Paran lines, New Orleans sits smack dab between them for me, and that was where we met.   Yup, I met him on a summer road trip. I was on a trip with my high school best friend, to see as many of the states as we could in my van. Crazily enough, her family tradition was to take a road-trip across the U.S. after graduating college. She asked me to go on this road trip during our first year in high school when we barely knew each other. Yet, we stayed friends for years and we took this amazing trip. So, yes, the picture of Wendy is my actual van that we drove and slept in all across this beautiful country.  Back to the original story, while he was in the middle of a trip around the world and we were partying our way across the south, we met in a New Orleans hostel. In typical fashion we met over a very American peanut butter and jelly sandwich my friend offered him. I say this because he is from the England and typically does not eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Only our souls knew at that point, and my friend, that we would go onto marry and have two fantastic kids and our lives would change forever.  

After we met, we stayed in contact as we continued our trips in different directions.  My friend and I traveled in a van going across the states. This literal journey of the states was so amazing. Getting out and seeing what is outside your door is indescribable. Your stories wait for you out there. I met so many fantastic people. The beauty of each state is aww inspiring. Each city has its own feel and energy. Each place has its own astrology chart, I have looked at many, and I will definitely be going more into these, so stay tuned for those in-depth readings.  My Placidus chart has my 9^th house stellium, I completely relate to this chart. My depth of wanting to learn not just by reading but being free in the world to explore screams to me. My chart reflects this part of my soul to the core. Growing up, I was that kid that was always looking forward to the next trip. 

Since I was a teen, astrology has been my secret hobby. I knew my main three: Sun, Rising, and Moon. I even supported my mom in an astrology software business. I have always been quite a hobbyist of astrology, but I dove deeper as my children started to get older and I wanted to know how to support them on a deeper level. I was too exhausted in the first years; I knew their main three but not the rest.  

During a specific crazy time in my life, I took to YouTube. Tarot and astrology became my regular viewing. I went right back to a comfort zone, and it just kept growing. The hobby took over, I started reading more books, watching more videos, I just could not get enough. I started reading everyone’s chart in my family, and a couple close friends’ charts.  I watched Meredith from Soul Navigation for the longest time, I am now studying with her at her Athena Academy.  Then I found Helena Woods (algorithm, so maybe it just found me) and astrocarthography just spoke to me. With my natural love for traveling and astrology the marriage of the two is just a natural fit.  I started looking at all the places I had traveled to, all the places I wanted to go and live. Checking my ACG lines, my parans and looking at timing.  I just could not get enough, and it has not stopped.   Astrocartography just really brings the natal chart to a new level. Then, as I was having fun studying natal chart’s and the map of the world and all the places I could explore.  At this time this excitement around mapping charts  my children were getting older.  Questions of colleges started being discussed on a more real level. As this next big adventure of life came into focus, leaving home and going to college became the next big jump in life for them.  Not only was I studying their natal charts, now I started researching every possible college choice that could be a place for my children to study.  Not every place was perfect, but I could see how they could work for them and help them grow to become the people that they are supposed to be, and that is all I really want for them. 

  As time went on, I started talking to friends and reading more of their charts and even my hairdresser. It just lights me up to be able to help people in this way. My soul happy sighs when people feel supported in knowing and hearing their details I can talk about just by looking at their planet placements. As I continued to watch, read and talk to more people, it drew me in, “I want to do this, share all this depth with people” so here I am jumping into my next journey in life. Ready for its twists and turns, but I know my Saturn is ready to push me and help me push that boulder up the hill as she always has. I have turned my Saturn into my friend, I see how she has never let me off the hook when it’s time for the more in life. I know I really rely on her to help me build the structures in my life. When some of the world is so hard for me to comprehend, this is not.

I just know when I am diving into astrology, I feel alive.  I just keep getting deeper into aspects, parans, astroids, timing and more. The meaning of the planets and houses and how they talk to each other is amazing, and creates so much depth within each one of us. Taking that energy into each one of us we take it and it become our own unique recipe for our lives.  Everything that has come together to make us who we are is so beautiful. The great thing about getting a reading with me is that you will get this knowledge and energy, along with my rich life experience to support you on your journey. My fear is sometimes, an hour does not feel like enough time to express all the knowledge, but I know that what is supposed to be said and heard is what is needed at the time.   

You may not understand every bit of astrology, but you don’t have to because I am sure you are diving into your own purpose and that is what you should be doing. Maybe you have not figured that out, or maybe you are in a shift. Planets are moving, the timing in life is kicking off, just like mine has, and I have made that transformation each time to only become more of who I am supposed to be in this life as I am positive you are on your own amazing journey.
